Yesterday
MSW began operations in 1996 with a single warehousing project for one automotive customer. From the first day of operation, the focus of MSW was to provide quality service, "on time, first time, every time." Ownership was committed to becoming a leader, not only in terms of services offered, but on the quality of those services. In pursuit of excellence, MSW became QS 9000 certified in 1997. Later that year, to further enhance our certifications, we were certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) through the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
As business changed through the years, our product lines expanded into supply chain management, packaging & kitting, as well as assembly (and sub-assembly), parts cleaning, and sorting, inspection, & reworking services. More importantly, MSW increased their ability to provide Supplier Consolidation services to a customer base whose own supplier network continued to grow. As customers voiced their concerns about the challenges of coordinating a large number of vendors, with the proper quality certifications, MSW helped companies streamline their operations.
Today
MSW is a privately-held, customer-driven company that provides quality Assembly Supply Chain Management, Sorting & Inspection, Parts Cleaning, and Kitting and Packaging services to its customers. We continue to be a Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and are now TS 16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2008 Certified. We have retained our dedication to our customer base, as well as our commitment to providing quality products and services "on time, first time, every time". Based on afoundation of strong leadership, industry experience, and proven success in exceeding customer expectations, MSW is positioned for continued growth and prepared for the challenges of future opportunities.
MSW operates 100,000 square feet of flexible, modern warehouse space, with multiple workstations, 23-foot ceilings, eleven dock bays, and three grade-level drive-through overhead doors. We are centrally located in a Free Trade Zone on the northwest side of Indianapolis, Indiana, just minutes away from an international transportation hub. Our facility offers the capacity to meet all of your requirements, and supports product storage, staging, shipping coordination, and delivery service capabilities.
